In case of KCO-HP, the conductor is made from high purity OCC silver, wich is the best known conductor for audio gear. For classic hifi systems it takes big amount of silver to put into (for example) a loudspeaker cable. But a headphone works fine with little amount of conductor. This is why it is much less expensive than a pure silver loudspeaker cable.

The KCO- HPAg contains four conductor channels so it can be used as a symmetrical cable. If you assemble it with the right plug and use it with symmetrical devices, you can get an even better sound from your headphones. 

The left/right side conductors have different colour coding, so it’s easier to assemble the cable and can be split into half for headphones that have separated left/right side input sockets.
